eCommerce Consumer Experience Manager

Job Description

To start with, the position of eCommerce Consumer Experience Manager sits comfortably in the Finance & Data Analytics team. An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. As a eCommerce Consumer Experience Manager you will be asked to drive growth through defining and executing data-driven strategy for Consumer to increase consumer experience by combining the disciplines of User Research, UX/UI, experimentation, A/B testing, and personalization. and overall drive data driven mindset in the eCommerce organisation. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:

  • Be the voice of the consumer driving long term strategic decisions
  • Be the go to person when translating customer pain points and opportunities (needs/behaviors/preferences) into detailed product requirements thanks to quality research
  • Drive our experimentation cycle and outcome through A/B testing and more
  • Set high standards for UX/UI
  • Develop and further improve RFM model to guide the personalization framework and further engage our end consumers
  • Be a manager for your direct reports
  • Develop high performing teams and build the right talent pool and succession

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a user centric and problem-solving mindset person - you are the consumer advocate striving for the best experience - with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of seniority in CRO or closely related fields as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves,” however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with managing backlog and development and working in an ever evolving tech stack environment but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

  • Experience with end consumer experiments
  • Experience with personalization and segmentation;
  • Experience with basic programming (HTML, CSS and JavaScript);
  • Highly motivated and deeply curious about (guiding) consumer behavior through all channels;
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • You are technical and analytical, but also creative;
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Experience with training and coaching junior employees;
  • Experience with white label design systems is a plus;
  • Curious, investigative, challenging, motivating, analytical personality
