Accounting & Tax Specialist

Finance București Full-time Romania

Job Description

  • Is responsible for GL accounting, performs bookings and supports Accounting Manager in analyses and reporting as per company business model;
  • Ensures SAP bookings quality and works together with business stakeholders to maintain accurate records;
  • Prepares IFRS/ RAS financial reports and accounting statements;
  • Supports internal and financial audits with professional expertise;
  • Monitors legislation changes and acts accordingly;
  • Implements the global policy in accounting and tax;
  • Responsible for all matters related to the local Tax Authorities;
  • Works and build good relationships with the local stakeholders, shared service, outsourcing providers, auditors, tax consultants and external authorities, where relevant;
  • Prepares ad-hoc reports and financial analyses and contributes to continuous process improvement in the accounting area.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting and Finance related field
  • Very good knowledge of accounting standards and local regulations ( CECCAR qualification is a plus)
  • Minim 3 years working experience in Accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools
  • Experience in working with SAP
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team, under pressure and with strict deadlines
  • Fluency in Business English, both verbal and writing
  • IFRS and financial reporting knowledge
